Therapy Services

Physiotherapy

Physiotherapy is the treatment of pain, injury, or disease using physical means as opposed to medical, surgical or radiological. It also includes the prevention of disability, evaluation and disablement by pain, or disease or injury in both adults and children.

Occupational therapy

The aim of Occupational Therapy is to enable patients to reach their optimal level of functional independence in the areas of self-care (dressing, getting in and out of bath), Leisure (hobbies, sports) and productivity (housework, employment)

Speech and Language Therapy

Speech therapy is concerned with communication disorders in children and adults after injury or disability. Areas covered include auditory abilities, receptive and expressive skills, articulation and other skills allied to speech and language.

Hydrotherapy

The term encompasses a broad range of approaches and therapeutic methods that take advantage of the physical properties of heated water, such as temperature and pressure, to stimulate blood circulation, and treat the symptoms of certain diseases.

Sports Therapy

Available for high contact sports injuries and various neurological and chronic/ back pain conditions. Sporting disciplines that mostly benefit from hydrotherapy includes: Rugby, Soccer, Cricket etc

Psychology

With the use of talk therapy to help you manage with general emotional unrest or acute trauma or illness. They treat everything from daily overwhelm to grief to specific mental disorders like depression or anxiety

Highly skilled rehabilitation team.

Our rehabilitation team headed by a Resident Doctor comprises of experienced therapists, rehabilitation technicians, registered nurses and nurse aides who work together with the patients to achieve maximum independence.

Well maintained facilities

27 bedded ward (Adult Ward 1) which comprises of private ensuite, single and double rooms
A general male ward for the admission of clients in need of intensive medical rehabilitation services at a minimal cost.
12 bedded nursing home (Adult Ward 2) with single rooms is open for the admission of patients in need of general nursing and palliative care.
A paediatrics ward (Hostel) which admits children attending St Giles School but cannot commute daily.

Nursery

A paediatrics ward (Hostel) which admits children attending St Giles School but cannot commute daily.
